Start with the Home net if its seven-foot format gives the coverage your measured practice area needs. Move to a Pro size when you need more width or height and have room for the complete setup. “Pro” is a family of sizes, and the ordinary Pro is not the same model as Pro 8.

Table of Contents
Name the exact size before comparing quotes
The Net Return’s current size table distinguishes Home, Pro, Pro 8 and larger versions. A retailer title that says only Pro Series can hide a meaningful size difference. Match the selected variant and dimensions in the basket before ordering a screen, cover or other fitted accessory.
| Model | Width | Height | Net depth |
|---|---|---|---|
| Home | 7 feet | 7 feet | 3 feet 6 inches |
| Pro | 8 feet | 7 feet 6 inches | 3 feet 6 inches |
| Pro 8 | 8 feet | 8 feet | 3 feet 6 inches |
| Pro 9 | 9 feet | 8 feet | 3 feet 6 inches |
| Pro 10 | 10 feet | 8 feet | 3 feet 6 inches |
Do not infer a weaker net from the Home name
The manufacturer FAQ describes Home and Pro as sharing the same core frame and net construction, with size as the distinction. Other package copy positions Pro for heavier use, but that alone is not evidence of a different material strength. We have not ranked them by durability from their names.
Choose coverage based on the space and practice plan. A larger net may provide a wider target, but it does not make every shot or swing safe in the room. If you need a particular rated use or commercial installation, confirm the exact model’s specifications and terms directly.
The shallow frame does not make a shallow simulator room
The net’s front-to-back dimension describes the equipment itself. You still need the specified rear clearance, a suitable hitting position, room for the club throughout the swing and protection for plausible misses. Mat height, ceiling fittings and garage mechanisms all affect that assessment.
Our practice-net guide covers the main layout questions. Check each golfer who will use the space, not just the shortest person or shortest club. A room that suits controlled short shots may not suit full driver swings.
Net-only and packages are different purchases
The standard package page lists additional equipment including side barriers, turf, tees, sandbags and a duffle bag. Other named packages can add different containment accessories. Compare the actual included list, because a net-only price does not buy the entire practice station.
Write a simple checklist: net, suitable hitting surface, required side and overhead containment, stabilization, storage and any wear-protection accessory. Keep optional convenience items separate. Do not remove a component necessary for your layout merely to match a headline price.
Plan the simulator upgrade before choosing the net
The company offers model-specific screen-and-surround upgrades for supported Home and Pro formats. They still need the relevant launch monitor, display arrangement and compatible software for simulation. A picture projected onto a screen is not itself a measurement system.
Use our net-versus-screen guide to decide whether projection is useful. If tablet feedback is enough, you may prefer a straightforward net practice setup. The distance-tools hub explains the separate measurement choices.
Consider outdoor use and storage
Home and Pro nets are described for indoor and outdoor use, while the dedicated Simulator Series has a different indoor purpose. Follow the instructions for your product and accessories. Outdoor suitability is not a promise that leaving everything exposed indefinitely requires no care.
Inspect netting, attachment points and frame components before use. Confirm replacement parts by model and generation if buying secondhand. Establish how the equipment will be dried, covered or stored, and how much time setup takes with the complete mat and containment arrangement.
Order the complete configuration
Choose Home when its measured coverage works, ordinary Pro when you need its extra size, and Pro 8 or larger only when the additional dimensions serve the plan. Confirm all fitted accessories against that exact selection. Shopping links below are starting points for the equipment, not a room-safety approval.
