Choose Ai Navigator HALO when its revised folding arrangement and mapped-hazard assistance solve a real ownership need. Ai Navigator GPS+ already combines remote control with a GPS touchscreen. Do not buy HALO assuming its base package automatically includes follow-me operation: Halo Eye is a separate accessory or an explicitly named bundle.

Both start with remote control and GPS
The Ai GPS+ US page describes its integrated touchscreen and directional remote. The HALO page adds a different folding design, in-hub motors and Geo Protect. These are more specific reasons to compare than the general “Ai” branding.

Try the fold with your actual car
Measure the trunk opening, not just the floor space. Consider where the golf bag, battery and other luggage will go. Ask a dealer to show the complete fold and lift rather than comparing two figures produced with different wheel positions.
A smaller footprint does not automatically mean an easier lift. Try the approved lifting points with the battery removed as instructed and decide whether the shape is comfortable for you. This is especially useful if a high trunk lip is the main problem with your current caddy.
Geo Protect is based on maps
The HALO manual says Geo Protect relies on GPS and correctly mapped hazards. It does not detect people or temporary objects and does not operate during manual top-handle control. It is an assistance function, not a guarantee that the caddy cannot enter trouble.
Check your course mapping and the current feature status during a demonstration. If your reason for upgrading is a particular path beside water or a regularly changing course area, discuss that exact situation rather than assuming the marketing label covers it.
Price the follow setup separately
Halo Eye adds another device to fit, maintain and transport. Its guide requires removal before folding the caddy and notes that it draws power from the caddy battery. Include that routine when deciding whether follow functionality is worth adding.
Check the invoice for the exact bundle contents. A base HALO photograph showing an accessory in use does not prove the accessory is included in your selected purchase.
Keep the distance tools you actually need
If you already use a watch or laser, identify when the caddy’s screen will add useful information. On a cart-path-only hole, the caddy and its display may remain away from the ball. The larger screen should complement the way you choose a club.

Make the upgrade a complete ownership comparison
