Club Glove Club, Pro, Tour and Tour SB: US Travel-Bag Size Guide

Club Glove’s Tour SB is not the largest traveler. It is the standard-size Tour option intended for stand, hybrid and carry bags. The regular Tour is the extra-large model, while Pro occupies a larger capacity position than Club.

Choose the travel cover around your actual golf bag and packed weight. A more expensive tier or a longer trip does not automatically require a larger cover.

Use the current size table

These figures come from the current Club Glove traveler comparison. Club and Tour SB share the same published dimensions but differ in listed weight. The separate Tour SB product page explicitly labels those measurements as exterior dimensions.

Do not treat the table as guaranteed internal clearance. Measure your golf bag’s widest loaded points, including protruding pockets and the arrangement of clubs and headcovers. Then ask the supplier to confirm fit or test the combination before a trip. A cover that closes around an empty bag may be unsuitable once the pockets are packed.

Make room for the support arrangement

The checked Club Traveler page and Tour SB page both list a Stiff Arm as included. Confirm package contents for the exact model and retailer before buying a second support accessory; used listings and incomplete bundles need their own check.

Our golf travel support arm guide explains the purpose of this type of support. Follow the equipment instructions when setting its length and packing the clubs. A support device is not a promise against every kind of handling damage, and extra space should not be filled so tightly that the cover is under strain.

Budget with packed weight, not empty weight alone

Put the golf bag, clubs, cover and everything you intend to place inside onto a scale together. Shoes, spare balls and clothing can change the total substantially. Leave yourself enough margin to pack the same setup for the return journey without relying on an optimistic estimate.

Check the operating airline’s current sports-equipment rules for your specific booking, route and fare. Look at weight, dimensions, fees and any conditions concerning the type of cover. This article does not give a universal airline allowance. A bag that fits your clubs still needs to satisfy the rules applying to your journey.

Think through the transfers

Try lifting and rolling the loaded traveler before choosing a size. Consider the car trunk, hotel storage and the space you will have while checking in. A larger cover may solve a bag-capacity problem but create a different handling problem during those transfers.

If two models accommodate the same setup, compare the handles, wheel arrangement and organization you will use. Decide which features justify their cost for your trips. Manufacturer tier names are not a measured damage-protection ranking, and this comparison contains no destructive testing of the covers.

Select the smallest suitable option

Begin with Club for a standard-size bag and examine Tour SB if you want the Tour specification in that same size category. Consider Pro when the cart or stand bag needs more room. Move to Tour when the larger tour or staff bag genuinely requires the extra capacity.

Our golf travel bag format guide helps compare soft travel covers with other formats. Before ordering, confirm the current model, exterior measurements, contents and return conditions. Keep a record of the chosen specifications and perform a complete packing trial well before departure, while there is still time to resolve a fit problem.
