TRUE OG Cush and SQAIRZ SPEED3 answer different footwear preferences. OG Cush is a zero-drop, spikeless option with an extra-wide toe-box description; SPEED3 is a spiked model marketed as waterproof. Put them on the same shortlist only if you are open to those different constructions. Neither brand’s shape claim proves that it fits your foot.
The most useful comparison is therefore two-stage: decide which platform and weather construction suits your use, then try the remaining candidates for length, width and heel security.

Zero drop and cushioning describe different things
The OG Cush specification lists a level heel-to-forefoot platform and underfoot foam. That illustrates why “zero drop” does not mean “no cushioning.” It describes a height relationship, while cushioning concerns the material beneath your foot.
If your current golf shoe has a different platform, do not judge the change only by standing on a shop carpet. Compare a few ordinary movements during an appropriate indoor trial and notice whether you like the stance and walking sensation. We are not prescribing a shoe for foot pain or promising that one geometry improves posture or your swing.
A wide toe box is not a complete width fitting
Look at the ball of your foot, instep and heel as separate areas. A roomy toe shape can coexist with a close heel or pressure across the instep. Conversely, a shoe that feels loose everywhere is not necessarily the solution when only your toes need more room.
Start with the brand’s current measurement guidance and your regular golf socks. Try both feet, because the pair has to accommodate the larger or differently shaped foot as well. Record where the shoe holds you and where it allows movement; that note is more useful than describing the entire brand as wide or narrow.
Keep water resistance separate from waterproof cover
The checked OG Cush feature list uses water-resistant construction. The SPEED3 page identifies a waterproof spiked shoe, along with its footbed and lace details. Do not turn those labels into an unmeasured ranking of breathability, grip or all-day comfort.
For repeated wet-morning rounds, read the exact waterproof policy of the candidate you intend to buy. For mixed off-course use, consider whether you want replaceable cleats at all. Our traction-format guide explains the practical distinction, including what the sole will require from you after use.
Run a comparison you can repeat
Use the same socks and a similar indoor route. Check toe contact while walking, heel movement during a gentle rise onto the forefoot and any pressure when settling into address. Retighten once if needed, then decide whether the fit remains comfortable without constant adjustment.
Keep your observations specific: “left heel lifts” is useful; “performance shoe” is not a fit result. Our US and UK shoe-size guide can help interpret labels, but always follow the chart for the exact model. Confirm the seller, condition and return terms before ordering two experimental sizes. Pick the construction that serves your rounds and the pair that actually fits, without relying on claimed distance gains to settle a footwear decision.
