Choose E-BOOST when you want to keep steering a push cart yourself and use motor assistance for selected sections. Choose ZIP Navigator when you want a remote-controlled caddy that propels the bag throughout the walking routine. E-BOOST is not a lower-priced way to obtain the same hands-free control: its manual requires you behind the handle with both hands in control when assistance is engaged.

Decide what you want your hands to do
The E-BOOST manual identifies a manually guided push cart with optional motor assistance. The ZIP Navigator page describes directional remote control, gyroscopic straight tracking and downhill speed control.

Intermittent help is different from all-round power
MGI says E-BOOST assistance is intended for difficult sections rather than powering the entire round continuously. Judge it against the hills or long stretches where you actually want help. Do not turn an advertised battery capacity into a guarantee of continuous motor use.
If your intention is to walk beside the cart without holding it, E-BOOST does not match that use. That is a fundamental control requirement, not a small accessory missing from the box.
Try starting, slowing and stopping
With a dealer, practice E-BOOST’s speed control while maintaining the required position. Check that the handle height and bag arrangement let you walk comfortably without reaching or crowding the wheels.
For Navigator, learn the remote’s stop and direction commands before trying a more complicated route. Notice how much attention steering requires. A remote-controlled cart moves the bag for you, but it still needs an operator watching the route.
Use your course as the demonstration brief
Describe the steepest usual climb, narrow path, bridge and parking area to the seller. Ask which modes and manual instructions apply. Neither product’s marketing language should be read as permission to use any slope or terrain.

Compare the work at both ends of the round
Fold each cart, remove the battery as directed and test the lift into your vehicle. A system that saves effort on the course may still be awkward to load. Include storage space for the charger and wet-weather cleaning routine.
E-BOOST remains an electronic product even though it can be pushed manually. Its manual says it is not waterproof and should not be hosed down. Plan to care for it using the stated process rather than treating it like an entirely mechanical push cart.
Choose assistance that matches the need
