A Maltby TS3.5 Iron Pak is a specified component package with an assembly choice, not automatically a ready-to-play set. Compare the exact Pak SKU, included clubs and build options before treating its advertised price as the total cost.

What this particular Pak includes
The GolfWorks PMA0376 listing combines TS3.5 heads, True Temper Score shafts, SuperStroke grips and ferrules. Other Paks using the same head name can have different shafts. A price comparison is only useful when you record the complete package.
| Item | Listed choice or distinction | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Set composition | 4–PW/AW, 5–PW/AW/GW or 6–PW/AW/GW | Different starting clubs and scoring-club coverage |
| Assembly | Optional; $40 per iron set at the check date | An unassembled box is a different purchase |
| Requested loft/lie changes | No extra charge with assembly; otherwise $4.95 per club | The same adjustment can have a different quoted cost |
These service charges were checked September 13, 2026. Confirm them in the current order. Shipping, taxes and any different component choices also belong in the total.
Count the clubs, not just the first and last names
Write out the actual clubs included in the option you choose. The slash-separated names can be easy to skim, especially if you are used to buying a 4–PW set. Check the transition to your existing hybrid and the wedges you intend to keep.
If you rarely use a long iron, a package beginning farther down the set may be more useful than a larger set bought for a lower apparent per-club price. Conversely, a new scoring club only saves another purchase if it performs the role you need. Our wedge-gapping guide helps evaluate that end of the set.
Assembled and unassembled need different budgets
For an assembled order, include the listed assembly option and write down the exact length, flex, grip and adjustment requests. Make sure the order confirmation records them. Do not assume that a note in a shopping basket has been accepted if it changes the standard product.
For an unassembled order, obtain a local builder’s complete quote before buying. Ask whether it includes shaft preparation, assembly, grips, final specification checks and handling any component mismatch. Buying parts first can reduce your ability to choose a builder’s preferred components or service package.
DIY assembly can be a hobby in its own right, but the relevant comparison includes the tools and materials you do not already own. It also includes your ability to check the finished clubs. A component saving is not a saving if a club has to be rebuilt because the initial specification was incomplete.
Use a written fitting specification
Have the fitter state the actual recommendation rather than only a color code or a generic “one degree upright.” Record which standard that adjustment refers to and the intended playing length. Ask how the completed set will be checked and what happens if a measurement differs from the order.
Our shaft-weight guide is useful before you accept the included shaft solely because it keeps the package price low. A stock component is part of a value proposition; it is not proof that it suits every player.
Compare the final number fairly
Put the delivered, assembled Pak beside a complete competing set with the same useful club count and a suitable build. Separate optional cosmetics from changes required by the fitting. Add any expected post-delivery adjustment rather than hiding it outside the comparison.

Check the exact model, generation and seller. Results can include alternatives; a search link does not confirm availability. Use the official supplier links for specialist products and services.
Keep a copy of the final specification with your receipt. It makes an eventual replacement shaft, grip change or single-club repair easier to discuss. The TS3.5 Pak is worth evaluating as a configurable purchase; judge it by the completed clubs and service you will receive, not just a component headline price.
