Choose FORMULA M-DHC if you want powered assistance while steering at the handle, FORMULA Remote if you want to steer from a handset, and FORMULA Pursuit if automatic following is a requirement. These are different caddy configurations. Do not buy the least expensive model assuming every mode can later be unlocked in an app.

Three configurations, three starting choices
Cart Tek’s current lineup separates manual steering, remote control and remote-plus-follow. That distinction is more useful than comparing color kits or a headline range claim. Start with where you want to stand relative to your golf bag during a normal round.
| Model | Verified control arrangement | Best question to ask yourself |
|---|---|---|
| M-DHC | Powered manual steering and downhill control | Do I prefer keeping a hand at the handle? |
| Remote | Remote steering plus powered manual mode | Do I want the cart ahead under my direction? |
| Pursuit | Follow, remote and powered manual modes | Will following be useful on my actual course? |
M-DHC: powered does not mean remotely steered
The M-DHC product page specifies a single-motor differential drive and downhill speed control. You steer the cart yourself. That can suit someone who wants less pushing effort without managing a remote handset or having the cart travel away from the handle.
During a demonstration, adjust the handle to a comfortable position and try starting, slowing and turning with your loaded bag. Pay attention to the hand movement required by the speed dial. Do not interpret the word manual as an unpowered push cart; the motor assistance is central to this model.
Remote: direct the route yourself
FORMULA Remote uses dual motors and provides slope and downhill control alongside its remote and powered manual modes. Cart Tek explicitly reserves follow technology for Pursuit. A handset that moves the cart without touching the handle does not mean the cart automatically tracks the golfer.
Remote makes sense if you like seeing the bag ahead and selecting its path. Try a slow turn, stop and restart before being impressed by the maximum range. Our remote-caddy guide covers the control habits that matter during an ordinary round.
Pursuit: assess the follow portions of your course
FORMULA Pursuit adds following while retaining remote and powered manual operation. At our check, the official page identified the product as a preorder. Confirm the current fulfillment position and demonstration availability rather than relying on an old launch window.
Ask to see how the system enters and leaves follow mode, where the handset is worn, and how you take control around other players. Follow mode does not establish obstacle detection or permission to ignore the cart. On a layout dominated by narrow crossings and steep paths, determine how much usable following space you actually have.
Compare a complete package and a real loading routine
Get written quotes that name the model, battery, charger and any remote charging equipment. Add only accessories you expect to use. If a seller mentions an upgrade path, ask for the exact supported conversion and current cost in writing; shared family branding alone does not establish interchangeable electronics.
Fold the demonstration cart and load it into your vehicle alongside your bag. A specification sheet cannot show whether you can reach the lifting points comfortably or whether your trunk lip blocks the folded shape. Our push-cart guide remains useful for that basic frame assessment.
Make the final choice by control, then terrain
Use the hilly-course checklist to discuss your normal terrain with the dealer. Downhill speed regulation and directional assistance are useful features, but they do not certify every slope, surface or loading arrangement.
Order M-DHC deliberately for handle steering, Remote deliberately for handset control, and Pursuit only when its additional follow mode solves a problem you have identified. The accessory links below support the carrying and organization side of the setup; confirm Cart Tek fit separately.
