That wording describes sizing intent; we have not measured the finished trouser leg. The waterproof construction includes sealed seams, adjustable ankles and a half-elasticated waistband.

ProQuip’s Emily Tempest rain-trouser page lists 27-, 29- and 31-inch leg options. It describes a PU-coated waterproof shell, waterproof zips, adjustable ankles and an elasticated waistband with belt loops. Ask whether the selected 27-inch option is a finished garment measurement or a body-fit recommendation; do not infer that from the selector alone.

Measure the garment you want to replace

Lay a well-fitting pair of comparable overtrousers flat and measure from the crotch seam to the bottom hem along the inside leg. Record the method and whether the hem is adjusted.
