Evnroll putters deserve comparison at the level of head, neck and build length. ORIGIN and ZERO identify different design routes, while a familiar ER2 outline does not establish the same balance or weight across every version. Start with the exact specification you can try, then assess aim and pace. Evnroll’s face-technology descriptions are manufacturer claims; this guide does not present independent ball-roll testing.

Separate the head name from the full build
The ORIGIN ER2 Satin page identifies a one-piece 303 stainless-steel head with a single-bend shaft. Its published 10-degree toe hang describes that configuration. It does not establish the balance of every Evnroll putter, including other ER2 versions or models with different necks. Record ORIGIN, finish and shaft arrangement alongside the head number when comparing listings.
This matters when shopping across new and used stock. A familiar silhouette can hide a different generation, neck or custom build. Ask the seller for photographs from above and beside the shaft entry, plus the measured playing length. An attractive sole photograph alone cannot establish how the putter will appear at address or how it has been configured.
Length and head weight belong together
Evnroll lists different ER2 head weights for its 33, 34 and 35 inch builds: 390, 375 and 360 grams respectively. Those figures are a useful warning against assuming that a shortened used putter automatically duplicates a shorter factory order. Check the original build and any later changes rather than inferring weight from its current length.
Try length while adopting a comfortable, repeatable setup. The aim is not to force your posture into a particular stock number. A fitter can assess whether the sole presentation, grip position and view of the target line work together. If a different grip is proposed, trial the complete configuration before treating the head alone as the decision.
Compare ORIGIN with ZERO deliberately
The ZERO collection offers a separate route, including Z1cs and Z2s models. Put a specific ZERO build beside the exact ORIGIN model you are considering. The family label is a reason to investigate its setup and movement; it is not evidence that it will automatically suit your stroke better.
Use the same ball and a few repeatable putts when comparing them. Include short straight putts, breaking putts and longer pace challenges. Note whether you aim consistently, whether the face returns as intended and whether you can judge distance without changing your routine. A putter that looks unusually easy to line up may still need a different length or grip.
Read face claims at the right level
Evnroll describes SweetFace technology as part of the face design. That establishes what the manufacturer intends the grooves to do. Without an independent controlled comparison, it does not establish a measured improvement for your strikes or permission to ignore contact quality. Keep technology claims separate from what you personally observe in a trial.
During that trial, include ordinary imperfect strikes as well as your best ones. Record where the ball finishes instead of relying entirely on the feel of one contact. If you have access to a fitting system, discuss the measured delivery with the fitter and ask what change in the proposed build addresses it.
Check the order before choosing a finish
Confirm the model, handedness, shaft or neck, playing length, lie, loft and grip in writing. Ask whether a displayed custom option is actually included in the quoted build and whether changes affect return eligibility. UK supply and custom-order terms should come from the retailer handling your order.
For a used Evnroll, inspect the face, sole, shaft and grip, and ask about alterations. Cosmetic wear and a changed specification are different issues. Choose the complete putter that gives you a clear aim and workable pace response; treat its finish and technology story as supporting details after that fit has been established.
