Playmaker+ has its own satellite-positioning function, but the GAME mobile app remains part of its setup, updates and connected features. Do not assume an old reference to Play+ describes today’s complete subscription offering. Separate the watch receiver from the app account
The Playmaker+ manual describes the watch acquiring GNSS satellites outdoors when golf starts. It also describes app registration, firmware updates, course downloads and round syncing. Built-in positioning therefore does not mean the app has no role.

Check the specific screen you intend to use
Basic yardages, full course views, club suggestions and historical analytics are not one indivisible feature. Write down the two or three functions that justify the purchase, then ask Blue Tees to identify their current account requirements.
The manual is useful for controls, but it does not establish a complete current free-versus-paid feature table. We have therefore not labeled every watch screen as permanently free. A store description with an old plan name should not settle that question.
Prepare the course before leaving home
Use the app’s device section to check the exact venue, layout and any available update. A resort with several courses needs more care than recognizing the resort name. Complete downloads with time available rather than discovering a missing view at the tee.

Do not buy a watch to get a different product’s features
Blue Tees markets a growing connected product family. A feature shown on a speaker or rangefinder page is not proof that it appears on Playmaker+. Check the watch itself and the current manual, especially for new AI functions and music control.
Similarly, a touchscreen demonstration using sample course information does not prove that your selected course is available with the same detail. Test the actual use case that matters to you.
Read the enrollment and cancellation route
The GAME subscription terms distinguish hardware ownership from membership. Check the renewal date, billing period and amount shown for your own offer. Cancel through the appropriate website or app-store route if you do not want renewal.
Returning hardware does not automatically cancel its associated subscription. Keep the enrollment confirmation and verify cancellation separately. We have omitted a fixed price because an old promotion or another customer’s plan is not a reliable quote for your account.
Inspect a used or older-stock package
Confirm that the seller supplies the correct magnetic charging cable, that the watch charges normally and that it can connect to the current app. Check the serial number, condition and applicable US service terms before assuming a previous owner’s bonus transfers.
