Will Alphard V2 Pro Fit Your Push Cart? A Bracket-First Checklist

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

An Alphard V2 Pro fits a push cart only when the exact model has a supported mounting arrangement. Identify the frame first, then choose its bracket kit. Do not order by brand, by the number of wheels alone, or because an older cart in the same family appears in a video.

Find the model name before selecting a kit

Look for the cart’s model label, original receipt or manufacturer parts diagram. Photograph the entire cart from the side and rear, including its rear axle and folding joints. If the model name has disappeared, send those pictures to Alphard rather than matching it to a small product image.

The official fit guide distinguishes bracket families within familiar brands. For example, its Clicgear 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 entries use the large fixed-front-wheel bracket, while the 8.0 and 8+ have a different two-fixed-front-wheel arrangement. Our Clicgear guide provides model context, not a substitute fit approval.

Examples that show why the exact model matters
Cart identification What to check Avoid assuming
Clicgear 2.0–4.0 listed generations Large fixed-front-wheel entry The same kit fits Clicgear 8
Clicgear 8.0 or 8+ Two-fixed-front-wheel entry Four wheels alone identify the kit
CaddyLite Auto+ 360 Its specific bracket listing Any CaddyTek bracket will work
New Speed Cart X or Nitron Swivel Fresh manufacturer confirmation An older Speed Cart or Nitron entry covers it

Separate cart brackets from clamp generations

There are two questions: which hardware fits the push cart, and which hardware belongs with your Club Booster generation? Older installation videos may show black directional clamps; current instructions also describe gray nondirectional Speedlock parts. Do not create a mixed installation by taking a clamp position from one video and a stopper or tube instruction from another.

For a used kit, request clear photographs of both clamps, brackets, fasteners and the unit label. Ask Alphard for one complete parts list for that combination. The cost of missing hardware belongs in the used-price comparison, even when the motor itself appears to work.

What if your cart is missing from the list?

Absence is a reason to pause the purchase, not proof that the cart can never work. Send the full model name, rear and side photographs and the measurements requested by support. Obtain a written answer that names the bracket and any additional components required.

A listing for an older frame does not establish compatibility with a recently redesigned one. This matters particularly when a name gains an X, Swivel or other suffix. Equally, a bracket that can physically clamp around a tube has not necessarily been approved for that frame’s geometry or loads.

Inspect the frame before motorizing it

Check for damaged tubes, loose folding locks, tired straps and badly tracking wheels. Resolve those problems before conversion. You should also load the golf bag and confirm that it sits securely without forcing the stand mechanism or covering pockets you use during a round.

Our push-cart buying guide can help decide whether the existing frame is still worth keeping. If it needs extensive repairs, compare a complete compatible-cart bundle and a purpose-built electric caddy before buying separate conversion components.

Your order and first-assembly checklist

  1. Write the exact cart model and generation into your order notes.
  2. Confirm the selected V2 Pro package includes the necessary brackets, rather than assuming every dropdown choice does.
  3. Match the supplied parts to one current instruction set before assembly.
  4. Keep packaging until the frame folds, the bag fits and the installation has been checked.
  5. Practice control in an appropriate clear area before taking the loaded cart onto the course.

Use the terrain checklist to prepare questions for a demonstration. Conversion compatibility does not certify every slope or surface. Accessory shopping should follow the fit decision; generic mounts do not solve an unsupported conversion.
