Titleist US Personalization: Stock Numbers, Text and Corporate Logos

Use Titleist’s personal customization route for a play number, message or library design; use Custom Logo Upload when you need your own artwork. The US minimum differs: ordinary custom balls start at one dozen, while uploaded logos require six dozen per model.

Three things commonly called custom

Titleist’s US customization guidance separates personal text, library logos and marks from the uploaded-logo service. A play number sits beneath the Titleist name; a personalized message or logo is a separate decoration. The custom selection page lets you choose the available model before the treatment.

A stocked number combination can be enough for identification without turning the purchase into a corporate order. Conversely, selecting a library icon is not the same workflow as supplying a company’s own logo.

Choose the right Titleist US workflow
Need Starting route Key order boundary
A preferred play number or message Personal customization At least one dozen; selected model options control
A pre-existing library design Personal customization Do not apply the uploaded-logo minimum automatically
Your own artwork Custom Logo Upload Six dozen per model; separate models cannot be combined to meet it

The uploaded-logo timeline starts with a proof

The Custom Logo Upload page states a digital proof within three business days and dispatch within eight business days after artwork approval. These are separate stages; neither statement means arrival eight days after the first click. Its terms also say uploaded-logo orders are final sale.

Work backward from the date you need to distribute the balls. Include approval time, dispatch, carrier transit and an inspection margin. Make sure the person who receives the proof email is available to approve it. An unread approval request can delay a time-sensitive gift even when the artwork is ready.

If a deadline is tight, ask for a current estimate before paying. Do not rely on a past holiday cutoff or a stock-ball dispatch estimate. The ordinary personal-order lead time and uploaded-logo lead time need their own confirmation.

Prepare artwork for a small printed surface

Titleist’s upload requirements accept several common image and vector formats, cap the file at 20 MB and specify 300 ppi for photographs. Licensed artwork needs written authorization. Its upload workflow does not offer a second-pole decoration; special packaging can be discussed through an authorized golf shop.

Use a clear file from the person responsible for the artwork, rather than a screenshot of a website. Inspect small lettering at the intended size. If a company logo includes a long tagline, ask whether an approved simplified version is more legible.

Agree the final design internally before submitting it. The supplier’s proof stage is useful for checking layout, not a substitute for deciding which version of a logo the organization wants.

Check the model as carefully as the spelling

Six dozen of the wrong ball remains the wrong order even if the logo is perfect. For a knowledgeable golfer, confirm the exact model and generation. For a mixed event group, decide whether the goal is a consistent giveaway or a performance-specific gift for selected players.

Our materials guide helps distinguish ball constructions. The alignment-line guide is useful when a recipient wants an aiming reference, which is a different purpose from displaying a corporate mark.

Build a complete order record

Record the model, color, play number, design file, number of dozens, approved proof and required delivery address. For multiple models, maintain separate quantities so each uploaded-logo minimum is met. Ask how any optional packaging affects cost and production before comparing two quotes.

Use the full payable amount, including printing, shipping and tax, when comparing personal and corporate routes. There is no universal customization surcharge that applies to every model and treatment. Keep temporary promotions separate from the amount a repeat order is likely to require.

Choose the least complicated workflow that meets the real purpose. A one-dozen personal gift and a six-dozen uploaded company logo are both valid choices; the difference is the artwork and production process you actually need.
