Spalding golf clubs in the UK are worth comparing when you want a starter package with a bag. Choose by the actual contents: an SX35 half set gives you fewer clubs to learn with, while an Executive package adds a driver and more short irons. The same name appears on different shop listings, so confirm the hybrid, shafts and bag before paying.

Compare the SX35 half set at Decathlon, the Brand Fusion Executive at Decathlon and Dormy’s Executive package. The Decathlon listings are marketplace purchases from the named sellers.
SX35: check whether you are buying a half or full set
The six-club SX35 selection covers tee shots, longer approaches, shorter shots and putting. It leaves gaps between the irons, which you can work around while learning and fill later if needed. A driver and pitching wedge are not included in that half-set description.
Other SX35 packages contain more clubs. GolfOnline’s graphite SX35 listing describes a driver, 3-wood, 4-hybrid, irons 6 through sand wedge, putter and cart bag: ten clubs. Its page currently says sold out or possibly discontinued, so use it to identify that version rather than assuming it is available.
Sport & Go UK also lists a women’s right-handed graphite SX35 half set and a women’s left-handed graphite SX35 package. These are separate products. Check the full contents and playing lengths on the chosen listing; the women’s label alone does not establish a fit.
Executive: compare the hybrid and bag
The two Executive listings above both include a driver and a continuous run of short irons through sand wedge. That gives a beginner more club choices than the six-club SX35 package. Brand Fusion specifies a 4-hybrid; Dormy specifies a 5-hybrid. We have kept those descriptions separate because a shared model name does not prove identical equipment.
Dormy publishes a 12° driver and 24° hybrid for its version. Those specifications do not establish the lofts of the Brand Fusion package. If you plan to carry your clubs, confirm the bag has the legs and straps you want; a cart bag is primarily a trolley choice.
Five checks before ordering
- Playing side: confirm right- or left-handed clubs on the selected item, including the putter. Use our left-handed buying guide to widen the comparison.
- Fit: ask for club lengths and shaft flex where they are missing. Graphite describes a material, not a guaranteed flex or a match for every beginner.
- Club count: count the clubs individually. A package’s piece count may include its bag and headcovers.
- Delivered cost: compare the final total, then allow for balls, a glove, lessons and any missing club you already know you need.
- Seller support: read the named seller’s returns and warranty arrangements. Marketplace listings can have different terms from products made and sold by the marketplace itself.
How the US S300 differs
Spalding’s US golf page shows S300 equipment and directs shoppers to Dunham’s Sports. The men’s right-hand S300 package has graphite-shafted woods and hybrid, steel-shafted 6–PW irons, a mallet putter and stand bag. Treat that as a separate US product, and verify UK delivery and support before considering an import.
