The Full Swing KIT is a portable radar launch monitor with its own display, built-in swing video and connected practice tools. It is most relevant when you want to review club and ball information alongside video and can provide a repeatable position behind the ball.
Before buying, settle two details that broad feature lists miss: the placement guidance for your setup and the current device requirements for the app. The official sources checked here contain older and newer instructions, so an exact setup confirmation is more useful than copying one universal minimum.

Resolve the spacing before committing to a room
The older KIT user guide places the device on level ground 10 feet behind the ball, aligned with the target. The current Full Swing Europe FAQ instead describes 8 feet behind the ball and 8–10 feet of indoor ball flight. Those are different published instructions, and a short room makes the distinction material.
Send the supplier a measured floor plan and ask which current setup applies to your device, firmware and practice or gameplay mode. Allow for the screen maker’s rear clearance and your unrestricted swing as separate requirements. Do not treat the smaller published radar spacing as proof that the complete room will work.
Make alignment a repeatable part of practice
The KIT manual describes target alignment and a level rear position. Establish the tee and target line first, then set the monitor to that line. Keep the position consistent when comparing sessions and recheck it after moving the mat or enclosure.
For a portable routine, make sure the range bay allows you to occupy the rear space without obstructing another golfer. A quick setup is valuable only when it can be reproduced. Our recommendation is to record the measured position and a photograph so you can rebuild the same arrangement at your usual practice location.
Use the data and video together
Full Swing’s Europe page lists 16 club and ball outputs without a separate data unlock. Examples include ball speed, club speed, launch, spin, path and face relationships, along with projected flight outcomes. The app can pair this information with swing video for review.
Decide which relationship matters to your lesson or practice goal. For example, a coach may want to compare a change in delivery with its effect on launch and direction. A single exceptionally long carry number is a weaker basis for changing equipment than a repeatable group of shots reviewed in context. We have not independently tested the KIT’s accuracy or ranked it against another monitor.
An old supported-phone list is not enough
The PDF manual mentions iOS 14, while the current UK App Store compatibility panel requires iOS or iPadOS 16.6 or later. The developer also identifies supported hardware generations. Check the store listing on the actual device you plan to use, rather than assuming a phone that worked when the KIT launched remains suitable.
Account for a replacement tablet or phone in your quotation if necessary. Confirm the intended video-review workflow in a demonstration, including how you save and revisit a session. A built-in display can be useful during practice, but it does not replace every account, app or connected feature in the package.
Separate included data from paid tools
The current app listing states that premium KIT features require a subscription. That is compatible with the manufacturer saying the core data outputs need no unlock: access to data and access to every storage, analysis or training feature are different entitlements.
Full Swing Europe also describes its Golf for KIT software with studio PC packages as subscription-dependent. Ask for the exact software name, platform, included term and renewal arrangement. A hardware quotation should not leave you to infer whether it includes the course experience shown in a demonstration.
Compare the finished routine, not an endorsement
A sensible purchase demonstration should show your chosen mode starting, the monitor capturing a small group of shots, the data appearing and the video being reviewed on the intended device. For a studio, add the screen, computer and software to the demonstration rather than testing the monitor in isolation.
Choose the KIT when the confirmed spacing, video workflow and software arrangement support the way you practise. If a supplier cannot reconcile the current setup instructions with your room, resolve that before ordering the surrounding equipment. A clearly specified system is more valuable than a collection of impressive features whose practical requirements remain uncertain.
